NORTH

Yorkshire Dales

Recognised for its wonderful scenery, valleys and long winding roads, visiting the Yorkshire Dales is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. With such great scenery, the Dales is a great location for adventuring. The toughest of tests in the Yorkshire Dales is the The Three Peaks Challenge, this will see you take on Pen-y-ghent Peak, Whernside Peak and Ingleborough Peak, consisting of 24 miles which are to be completed in 12 hours, an extremely challenging but rewarding walk as you take in the views on offer from the highest point in Yorkshire. Why not head down under and see what life is like under the limestone landscape? A guided tour will see you descend into the caves, and explore the many underground chambers below.

If you’re after something a little bit more relaxing you can enjoy the many walking and cycling routes within the Yorkshire Dales. Taking a walk through one of the many small villages situated within the Yorkshire Dales also provides ample opportunities to try the locally sourced food and discover how relaxing life can be in the Dales. Yorkshire Dales

North Pennines

Visiting the North Pennines on your next trip is a must, with many outstanding places to visit and things to do this is the ideal location for a family trip away. 

The North Pennines is famously home to World Heritage Site, Hadrians Wall. Crossing northern England from East to West, constructed many years ago by the Roman army large sections of the wall remain standing to this day. Take a step back in time and visit one of the most recognisable Roman monuments in the UK. The wall makes for a great route to travel, taking you across some stunning landscapes as you travel through what once was the Northern Frontier of the Roman Army.

Travel down the River Tees and you will come across the incredible High Force Waterfall one of the most remarkable waterfalls in the UK. Plunging an incredible 21 metres into the water pool below it’s a sight to behold. The surrounding woodland and footpaths make visiting High Force an enjoyable experience that can be enjoyed by all.

Brecon Beacons

Located in the South of Wales, the Brecon Beacons is a popular spot for those looking for an adventure break.  With endless cycle routes for both on-road and off-road bikes and mountain waking routes across all sorts of terrain, the Brecon Beacons is an ideal place to embark on an adventure. There are also spectacular sights underground with caves and mines discoverable by guided tours as you take in the natural beauty that lies beneath.

Great Yarmouth

Newquay

The home of water sports in the UK, this surfer’s paradise is sure to keep the family entertained as you embark on an adrenaline filled break. A seaside town with a range of sandy beaches Newquay is a hotspot for those looking for a seaside break.

There are plenty of opportunities to learn how to surf one of the many beaches, with tuition companies on hand to get you riding your first wave.
