I fondly remember my childhood summers marked with regular camping trips in tents, mobile and static caravans, but they were often quite basic and involved a lot of work for my parents. It doesn't have to be like that these days.
Times have changed. Gone are the days of chemical toilets, struggling with awnings and fetching jerrycans of water – family camping holidays are much more upmarket than they used to be.
